This is a really beautiful historical piece. Monogrammed with a lovely K and holding the photograph of a smiling young woman. The photo has two dark areas on it.There are no stamps or marks. I did not lift the photo as I am afraid of causing any damage- but there are probably stamps underneath.The other side has a flat disc in it rather than another place to hold an image. A thin layer of glass covers the portrait. Shown on a quarter for scale. Measures almost an inch in diameter.Exquisite design on the back.Wear to the plating suggests this piece is standard rolled gold. I estimate it is Victorian(1870s) and was used as a watch chain pendant., swirl
